December 2003 - Issue #15 In This Issue Another alternative to wax resist is Vaseline. This works great around the base of a piece or to create resist patterns that would be difficult with a brush. You can quickly spread Vaseline on piece with your finger and not worry about dripping or loading up a brush properly. You just want to be carefully handling the piece with your Vaseline fingers.
